I am in the process of planning my major assignment for FET5621 Introduction to Web Publishing, which will be a major website, created in Dreamweaver and based on the online course, ‘A Missing Person Investigation’. The site will contain material created a couple of years ago and based on, A letter from Cairo, by Astarte Resources. (and used with kind permission of Ben Churcher from Astarte Resources)
Ann Leeson (a teaching colleague) and I created this course a few years ago. The course is a wonderful journey into the lives of the Ancient Egyptians whilst at the same time solving a mystery set in contemporary times. I loved creating this course.

We have completed Orientation Days for my school. Both students and teachers had a great time and hopefully the days were beneficial.
As part of my presentation to Home Tutors I talked about Web 2.0, what it is and how and why students are using this as part of their school work. If you would like more information about Web 2.0, look under the cool content button on this site.

The devastating bushfires in Victoria have shocked us all. It has brought home to me the awesome, and awful power of nature. The firefighters have set up a webpage and are being encouraged by the messages of support sent to them. Show your support by sending a message. The link is http://www.thankyoufiries.com/
