Middle School
Years 6 - 9
Our Middle School focuses on ensuring a smooth transition for pre and early adolescent students through the school, with high levels of personal support being provided.
Years 6 and 7
Years 6 and 7 students complete Language across the Curriculum (LAC) and a Maths program. They also choose to study a Language other than English (LOTE). The school offers German, Indonesian, Italian, French or Japanese.
Years 8 and 9
Years 8 and 9 students complete whole year learning programs in English, Mathematics, Science, Study of Society and Environment. In addition to this, they study two electives per semester - including a LOTE for one semester only, unless continuing to study the Language through to Year 12. Electives for Year 8 include Home Economics, Health and Physical Education, Art, Music and Intro ICT.

Middle School courses are complemented by a parallel Learning Technology Program, enabling our students to develop their technological skills as they complete core curriculum materials.
Students in the Middle School may also elect to participate in the school’s acclaimed Instrumental Music Program.
