Because of Her, We Can!

This year's theme celebrates the essential role that women have played - and continue to play - as active and significant role models at the community, local, state and national levels.

  • Welcome to Country by Elder Aunty Valerie Davies
  • Guest Speaker, Narelle Nicol
  • Indigenous dancers performance and smoking ceremony
  • Activities work stations-
  • Rock painting
  • Basket weaving
  • Making water lilies
  • Sharing of traditional foods

NAIDOC Week celebrations are held around the country each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

All are welcome to attend and enjoy our first inaugural celebration, here at our school.
