Week 1, 2021 is Orientation Week
At Cairns SDE it is a tradition that Week 1 of the school year is Orientation Week (O-Week).
This year's O-Week will take place from Wednesday 27 January to Friday 29 January. The purpose of O-Week is for teachers to make contact with students and parents and for students to get organised and begin their school work.
To support parents and students to hit the ground running in 2021, we will also be offering 9 short, online sessions. It is an expectation that students and parents attend as many of these sessions as possible. These sessions will be delivered by our staff via Collaborate Ultra in the CSDE Space eLearn course.
If you are a new student and do not yet have an active login to access the online Orientation Week sessions, please email Field@cairnssde.eq.edu.au and we will provide you with the guest links. The sessions will all be recorded, so if you happen to miss one, you will be able to jump in and watch it later. We appreciate your patience during this busy time.
