The TAFE Queensland Brisbane and The University of Canberra Acting Department are hosting some school holiday workshops for students during the mid-year holidays.

Event description

Join us for a one-day workshop, where you will gain insight into how costume plays an important role in acting and role-play. Activities like Cosplay and LARP provide the opportunity to transform into a character through making the costume, learning how to wear it and becoming your character. Actors do the same thing - wearing a costume helps actors transform into their characters. This process of combining characters with costume and performance will be explored through “through improv, acting exercises, games, character development. and physical exploration
