The "Koala Kreativity
Contest" is a Cairns SDE competition designed to raise awareness and support for
Save the Koala Month. Participants are invited to showcase their creativity and
innovation by creating artworks, projects, or designs that highlight the
importance of koala conservation and habitat protection. This contest aims to
engage individuals of all ages and backgrounds in the cause of koala
preservation.
Categories:
- 1.Artistic
Expression: Participants can submit paintings,
drawings, sculptures, digital art, or any other visual art forms that capture
the beauty and significance of koalas in their natural habitat.
- 2.Innovative
Solutions: This category encourages
participants to develop innovative projects, designs, or ideas that contribute
to koala conservation efforts. This could include habitat restoration plans,
technology-based solutions for monitoring koala populations, sustainable
tourism initiatives, and more.
Submission: Participants should submit their entries via email to Andrea Watters awatt84@eq.edu.au
, including a brief description of their work and its relevance to koala
conservation by 10 pm this Friday, 10 September.
Judging Criteria: Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, originality, relevance to the
theme, impact on raising awareness, and feasibility of proposed solutions.
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded for winners in each category, including eco-friendly
merchandise, and certificates of achievement.
Expert Panel: A panel of Sustainability Team members will evaluate and select the winners.
Exhibition
and Awards Ceremony: The
winning entries will be displayed in the staff and student notices, Facebook
and the school website.
