The Department of Education is moving from Blackboard Collaborate Ultra to Microsoft Teams Classes in 2025
The Cairns School of Distance Education (CSDE) will start trialling the new platform by teaching some classes with MS Teams in Term 4, 2024. For students, the move to MS Teams Classes won't be a big change. The main difference will be how you access your live or recorded lessons through QLearn.
To help you to prepare, Cairns SDE will be developing resources that we'll upload to QLearn Student Space. Your teachers will tell you when they are available.
