The awards allow students to develop a range of essential skills for entry to the Hospitality and Tourism industry with the guidance of experienced, passionate professionals.
The aim of the awards is to:
- Promote and encourage careers within the Hospitality and Tourism industry.
- Give students the opportunity to experience the selection processes for employment.
- Provide students with a unique opportunity to meet senior executives working in the hospitality and tourism industry in FNQ.
- Provide students with additional industry experience that may lead to employment post schooling.
The Business Liaison Association invites Year 7 - 12 students currently participating in a Certificate course in Hospitality or Tourism, the Applied Hospitality Practices and Tourism subjects, and/or a School Based Apprenticeship/Traineeships to apply for the Hospitality and Tourism Awards.
